The Theology of Money

In this module, the candidate will be presented with material designed to challenge their perspective on the God’s view of money, and to develop a Biblically based philosophy of money and Investments.  During this section, the candidate will face questions such as:

• Is Money Important to God?  If so, why?
• How should a Christian deal with materialism?
• What does the Bible say about prosperity theology?
• How should a Christian deal with debt?
• What about tithing and giving?  How does that fit into a financial plan and a budget?
• How do we best help the poor and reach the lost?  How should we effectively use the resources God has entrusted us with in order to grow His kingdom?
• Whose money is it anyway?
• What is the Biblical approach to gambling?
• What is the Biblical approach to saving and investing?
• What about insurance and trusting God?
• What does God say about retirement?
• What type of Legacy should we leave?  What is the difference between inheritance and heritage?
• Can I use money in ways that God rewards?
